To ensure that the health, economic, and environmental interests of Latinos are protected, the NLCCC has held regional briefings in Chicago, IL, New York, NY, Orlando, FL, Philadelphia, PA, and Albuquerque, NM to help inform and engage local leadership and communities on global warming. The purpose of these briefings is to convene local Latino/minority leaders in government, advocacy, environmental, business, and a to discuss the challenges and opportunities that global warming presents for the Latino community.
